Alisha Jurgens studied photography at Pickens Technical College, graduating with honors. Jurgens sees beyond subject to capture deeper emotions and truths. Using creative techniques with her Sony a7 camera and computer to bring about a visual expression that’s not a stoic exact representation, but an interpretation, a feeling, a mood. She continues to study photography styles, techniques, and digital dark room processes, pushing herself to grow as an artist, constantly striving for this mysterious elusive mood. Her work can be found at Beautiful Art Gallery in Parker, Colorado.
