Jennifer Healy was born in Texas and grew up in Louisiana, where she still resides with her husband and 4 children. She began her passion for art at an early age. Doodling in elementary classes, and all the way through high school. She started in her passion for art in elementary school as an attempt to escape from an abusive and troubled childhood. Jennifer likes to combine both the beautiful and ugly aspects of life in her work. She also took a watercolor class in high school. This sparked her love for painting. Art was, and is, a way of life.
Currently she prefers to create her art with watercolor, and occasionally colored pencil. She also spent a few years focusing on digital art before diving full speed into traditional art.
