About Info

Artist Name
Benjamin Ware
Artist Statement

I utilize my work as an expression of my emotions and feelings, which are representative both of what I’m going through at any given time and the music that I listen to as I create. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in late 2015, and have turned to my art in place of strong prescription medications for pain, anxiety, and depression. As such, my work is often abstract, utilizing bright, bold colors and heavy textures in a variety of mediums including acrylic paint, inks, spray paint and resin. Ive recently started digitally maipulating my paintings to add even more depth and demension. I love exploring new mediums and incorporating bits and pieces from each style into my pieces to give a more unique, complex feel to my work.
