Texting myself in the night
Hoping I might
Remember a sight,
Or turn of phrase;
That made my plight
Something to write,
The absence of light
Brightens my gaze;
I turn my fight
Into delight
Divine hope sets right,
Navigating this maze;
Mysteries incite,
And beauty ignite
My appetite
For mounting praise;
Stardust and light,
With gravity's might,
All will unite,
For life always;
Don't know where I'm from
But I know where I'm at
And for that I am amazed,
If it is
Just up to me,
I'm scared to see
What remains of my
Nights and days,
But fortunately,
There is a we,
A grand unity,
With none of us
Really leading the way.
