About Info

Artist Name
Hooshang Khorasani
Artist Statement

The common theme for all my works is energy – energy in nature and the world around me, in moving colors that show power, in the inner life of my subjects.

All areas of my equine paintings are designed to make the horses gallop ahead, trying to escape the canvas. Every single color shows moving energy; each color cooperates with the next to handle this performance of power. I want these horses to continue running – and let viewers witness that.
