Located in front of the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in downtown Shreveport Common, the Makers Fair recreates the lively vibe that once was commonplace in this historic, downtown neighborhood. The Texas Avenue Makers Fair was founded as a way to draw the community to this underutilized section of Downtown Shreveport as the Texas Avenue Community Association and other organizations work to revitalize the area.

Makers offer a wide assortment of handmade, re-purposed or reconstructed items ranging from clothing and fashion accessories to toys, food and art.

Admission is free and abundant free parking is available near the event.

It's a family event and sociable dogs on non-retractable, short lines are welcome. Original or repurposed art and handcrafted goodies, plus food trucks, music and fun. Come stay all day. Visit, shop, buy. See what life we bring to the Core of the City.
