Abby has worked for large companies such as Cirque du Soleil, MGM, and Caesar's Ent. in Las Vegas and other cities. I have recently moved to the Shreveport area with my husband who is in the air force and is stationed here. I am enjoying working as an independent contractor and performing in Louisiana as well as surrounding areas. I perform aerial acrobatic acts including aerial fabric, hoop, duo hoop, and single hoop. I can also perform acrobatic dance numbers on the ground that don't require rigging.
Before I became an aerial acrobat, I was a highly trained dancer and studied in New York, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. My training was in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern.
I often times work as a dancer along with performing aerial acts. I enjoy working as a choreographer and recently choreographed a piece for the Xmas in the Sky fundraiser at Harrah's Louisiana Downs. I love to perform but also enjoy the creative process of being behind the scenes. I strive to create more employment for local dancers and performers. Sometimes this means producing the show myself.
