Louisiana based artist, Lindsay "Bones" Cordero, has been painting since childhood and began selling her artwork in 2015. She utilizes a wide array of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache. Art is an intellectual process for Bones through which she engages the many topics which spark her interest: history, culture, fashion, food, cats, literature, nature, and the varying places she travels to. Her work is figurative and expressionist; she pursues expression through bold colors, lines, and characters. She interprets subject matter in abstract, illustrative, and realistic ways. Passionate about making connections through her artwork, she seeks to create works which inspire an inner dialogue in the viewer.
