My art is for me a vehicle to escape the mundane. Sometimes I draw my inspiration from things that inspired me as a child, especially classic science fiction shows and paperbacks. And sometimes I'm drawing from a personal spiritual inspiration and I want to express a sense of mystery and wonder. But whenever I paint, I am always looking for other worlds to explore and new stories to tell.

Though my only formal art education has been a semester of beginning sculpture at Centenary College, I have spent many years being mentored by a local artist of national recognition, Jerry Wray. I've had paintings in shows at the Norsworthy art gallery and the Barnwell Center. And I have had a few single artist showings at the Magale library at Centenary College. I've illustrated two published children's books, illustrated and designed several posters for the Centenary Book Bazaar, and Illustrated and designed a poster for Geek Fair.
I was also a contributing designer for Happily Never After, a site that sells hand crafted items with a horror theme.
