I have been a product designer for Vagabond House (14 years) and Arthur Court (1 year). For the duration of my career I have been able to work remotely and have a small studio in my home. I feel like I draw from my southern upbringing to bring to tableware the grace and elegance of our culture and way of life. Working exclusively for these two companies, I mostly work in metal (pewter and aluminum) and watercolor and pen/ink drawings. I was born and raised in Shreveport, however spent most of my 20's living in SE Asia and 30's in South Carolina. My family and I recently moved back to Shreveport. I am very excited to reconnect with the local artists and SRAC and the good work all of you do in our community. I am eager to learn from other artists with skill sets different from mine and to share any of my experiences in manufacturing and product development.
