    Phyllis Felicia affectionately known as “ Cola” is a passionate children’s author who writes with clarity and great power. Cola uses the imagination to introduce the reader to a world of art, education, music, diversity and empowerment.

    She inspires young readers to tap the champion within. Her words are impactful. Her messages are meaningful; they transform lives by celebrating individuality. As an educator, Cola explores pedagogical and literary practices that align with instruction in: Inclusion, English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science and World Language classrooms.

    Cola is an artist, author, motivational speaker, philanthropist and advocate for parents and children with autism. Cola is the Dr. Suess of the 21st Century.
    Her accomplishments include:
    • 2 Published books: I Count for Something and Life, Love and Living.
    • Donated 5K books to children programs in hospitals, schools, churches, community centers and neighborhoods.
    • Linked 100 children with early intervention and related services for autism.
    • Responsible for 11-college scholarships to an accredited Engineering program.
    • Fostered 4 children who are now successful adults.
    • Created a successful mobile interactive literacy music education and skills training program.
