Claire P. Sharp, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana is both an attorney and an artist. She studied commercial art at Centenary College and Louisiana Tech where she acquired 90 hours toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While living in Pensacola, Florida, she worked for an advertising agency and also freelanced designing billboards, brochures and the like. She later completed her formal education at LSU in Shreveport and LSU Law School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.


Claire has practiced law in various cities often acting as in house counsel for various banks in south Louisiana. In 1998 Claire returned to make Shreveport her permanent home where she now has an active law practice. Returning home also meant rededicating herself to passion--painting. Claire has studied under several well-known local artists and has participated in various studio and juried shows.
