I am a local artist and filmmaker. I currently reside in Shreveport and operate under Broken Lens.

My passion is filmmaking, as well as activism, and I have made it my hobby to use and work with cameras. I have experience operating cameras during live broadcasts, and have directed live broadcasts as well as written scripts for the teleprompter. On one of those live television programs, The Picture Show, I was the main script writer, as well as one of the two main hosts. In addition to hosting, directing, and writing scripts for programs, I also have experience planning the themes, talking points, and style of the program. When I worked on the program Homework Hotline, another BPCC live show, I alternated from live camera operator to director and switcher operator. In 2014, I was an extra on the film I Saw the Light and was able to work on a higher-budget production and observe the filmmaking process. As well as understanding the technical side to media production, I also embrace the artistic side and look for creative solutions. In 2013, I assembled a crew and wrote, directed, and did camera work for my own film, which we entered into the Louisiana Film Prize that year. I currently write and direct in my spare time. I also am building a network via social media for my film and music projects. Currently, I manage all of these projects under my own "Production-band", (as we like to call it), Broken Lens. I am able to use Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Aside from that, I also do a lot of video editing in which I use Adobe Premiere, and have had training in Avid. For Broken Lens, I have directed and filmed music videos for local musicians. I have a wide range of experience and training as a filmmaker, live television operator, store clerk, and quality supervisor. My dream is to make positive change for the community through art and entertainment.
